Jersey City Ballet Presents “Peter and the Wolf”
On October 26, 2024, Jersey City Ballet Theater (JCBT) Company presented a captivating performance of Peter and the Wolf at the Roy Irving Theater of Saint Peter’s University.
The family-friendly production brought Sergei Prokofiev's timeless tale to life through a dynamic collaboration between JCBT Company and the Garden State Philharmonic. The performance began with the classic story of Peter and the Wolf, narrated and accompanied live, and featuring students from the Jersey City Ballet School youth division.

Following this, the program showcased two divertissements:
Umoja: A composition by Valerie Coleman, celebrated for her contributions to contemporary classical music.
Tico Tico: A lively piece by Brazilian composer Zequinha De Abreu, infusing the performance with vibrant South American rhythms.
