Jersey City Ballet School Adult Students Perform “Kingdom of the Shades”

​On February 8, 2025, Jersey City Ballet School presented "Kingdom of the Shades" from the classical ballet La Bayadère at Jersey City Theater Center, featuring students enrolled in our Open Adult Division.

Dancers participated in a six-week workshop tailored to adapt Marius Petipa's original choreography for La Bayadère to be accessible to all levels. Following the performance, dancers and attendees gathered for an informal reception, providing an opportunity to celebrate the dancers' achievements.
